A purpose designed tile backing board, Knauf Aquapanel Interior solves the problems experienced when traditional backing materials get wet. So no more costly call backs to replace rotten or damaged boards. Knauf Aquapanel Interior screws ensure a quick and easy installation with no special tools required. Knauf Aquapanel Interior is ready keyed to take tiles up to 50 kg/m2 as soon as the boards are installed.

Aquapanel Interior Cement Board consists of a core made of Portland cement and additives and is reinforced on both sides with fibreglass mesh. The Aquapanel Interior board has beveled ends and reinforced edges (EasyEdge system). It allows you to reduce installation costs, increasing efficiency in wet and humid rooms. In addition, Aquapanel Interior offers significant benefits in terms of noise reduction and fire protection. Aquapanel Interior cement board can be used on walls and ceilings and provides a solid and durable base for interior tiles. This board does not swell, soften, deteriorate, delaminate or disintegrate under the influence of water and is resistant to fungi and mould.
